The New Progressive Missionary Baptist Church is proud to support the youth, with the understanding tomorrows leaders are being shaped.
Under the leadership of Pastor Lee youth and young adult Sunday has been moved from twice a year, to every fourth Sunday. With this change, the youth and young adults have been given an opportunity to train and work in the kingdom preparing them to be tomorrows leaders.
There are a number of programs your youth or young adult can get involved, from young adult bible study, youth and young adults choir, youth missions programs, the youth usher board where they will learn how to serve, the young mens ministry, young women's ministry, AWANA and a host of other activities. Whatever you or your youth are interested in, New Progressive has something to offer them.
Our Mission
To serve the youth/young adult population of New Progressive Missionary Baptist church, by developing programs, and classes. Planning social activities as well as working to create an environment where the youth/young adults can grow spiritually, and position themselves to be the next generation church leaders.
The Vision
The Youth Department is all about positioning; getting our youth/young adults ready for the world to come in their lives, and be the next generation church leaders. Our time is spent “training them up” for the youth, and “understanding your worth” for the young adults. They are the next generation leaders, and we focus on training them so they can continue the work of Jesus Christ in their local church assembly.
Our Approach
The Youth & Young Adult department takes a unified approach, working with every Youth and Young Adult leader to ensure we are ministering to the needs of our Youth & Young Adults unified way. To ensure your Youth or Young Adult will be ministered to in the most effective way, our leaders work together as shown.
