Department of Christian Education
Matthew 28:19-20“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
The role of the Department of Christian Education is to respond to the Great Commission by focusing on evangelism, edification and education for spiritual growth and producing mature disciples.
The Christian Education Department promotes and supervises the Christian training and development of the entire membership of the Church.
This department offers:
Joint departmental effort in creating workshops and seminars for leaders, teachers and staff
Provide support for all ministries and departments that addresses the needs of the church
Review and recommends educational materials
Natures the teaching ministry and Bible study
Coordinates various programs at all levels
Fosters faith and spiritual information leading to committed Christian service
Monitors Church calendar and announcements
Development of curriculum and other standards to support Christian Education programs
